The Muwekma Ohlone Tribe of the San Francisco Bay has launched MuwekmaTimes.com, a community newsletter by and for the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe and its members. The publication will be a source of news and information of importance to the community.
Tribal political discourses are very important to keeping our community informed of the challenges and opportunities that the Tribe encounters. We encourage all Ohlone people to check back often and to produce content yourself so that can be shared on this platform.
As we continue to wage our long struggle to be seen and recognized by the federal government, we need our citizens to be our fiercest advocates. This platform attempts to empower our members with all of the information that they need to secure our political liberation.
